Hi, I’m Lysandra!
I’m currently studying Chemical Engineering and discovered my passion for teaching during my gap year. Since then, I’ve loved helping students work through challenging concepts and experience those rewarding moments when everything finally “clicks.” My tutoring approach is supportive, encouraging, and focused on building both academic understanding and confidence.

Having achieved strong results in my own studies, I understand the discipline, perseverance, and self-belief needed to succeed academically. I firmly believe that every student is capable of excelling with the right support and guidance, and that learning should feel engaging and rewarding rather than overwhelming.

I tutor Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and I genuinely enjoy helping students simplify difficult topics and approach them with confidence. I love the logical challenge that mathematics provides, the problem-solving nature of physics, and the depth and creativity involved in chemistry. My own experience improving my Chemistry results taught me the importance of understanding mistakes, refining study techniques, and learning how to approach problems effectively — skills I now aim to pass on to my students.

For me, tutoring is about more than improving marks. It’s about helping learners believe in their abilities, overcome self-doubt, and develop the confidence to tackle challenges independently. I strive to create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel supported, motivated, and excited to grow.
