Where Every Question Meets a Solution

Most of our tutors are top university students who have completed their final year of school within the past eight years. This means their knowledge of your child’s syllabus is current and relevant. They also understand effective study methods because they actively use them themselves. Every tutor goes through a rigorous selection process, including an interview and training, to ensure they can provide the highest quality support for your child.

At Tutor Tonic, we take great pride in our rigorous matching process. We highly doubt that a mismatch will occur, as our approach is detailed and specific to both the student and the tutor. However, if the tutor student match is not the right fit, we will promptly investigate and either rework the relationship with the current tutor or arrange a new tutor who is better suited to your child’s needs.

We handle all payments between you and your tutor. Before your first scheduled lesson, you will receive an invoice for that month of tutoring. Billing then continues on a monthly basis at the start of each month to secure payment for our tutors. Any unused hours at month end will either be refunded or credited to your account for future lessons. If you prefer not to commit monthly, we also offer invoicing in blocks of 4 hours.

We also provide a range of discounts to support families and students including: A 10% sibling discount if more than one child is enrolled with us. A 10% upfront discount if parents purchase 10 lessons in advance. These credits must be used within 3 months, including the month of purchase (Example: If purchased at the end of February and the first of the 10 lessons is used in the month of February, all remaining lessons must be used by the end of April). A 10% needs-based scholarship discount available to high school students who qualify.

Please reschedule any sessions at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations will result in the lesson being charged in full.
