Hi, I'm Chris.
I'm currently completing my Honours in Statistics after earning a Bachelor's degree in Data Science and Statistics from UCT. I decided to become a tutor because I believe confusion in learning often comes down to how something is taught, not the student’s ability to understand it. I aim to make learning less intimidating and more approachable by breaking down tricky concepts into something simple and practical.

My favourite subjects are Maths and Computer Science because they’re logical, method-driven, and based on applying what you know rather than just memorising facts. I like to keep lessons clear, hands-on, and (hopefully) stress-free, creating a space where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes.

Tutoring is more than just helping students improve their marks - it’s about helping them realise how capable they really are. Seeing that shift in confidence is the best part of what I do!
